About the Cover

Cover Figure

Structure of the retinoid X receptor (RXR) tetramer/trans-RA (tRA) complex. Shown here is an overview of the RXR tetramer structure. Each protein monomer is independently colored. The two tRA-isomers are shown in space-filling representation, with green indicating carbons and red indicating oxygens. The tRA binds to RXR as a nonactivating ligand and results in an inactivated tetrameric complex. (For details, see Gampe, Jr., et al., p. 2229.)
