About the Cover

Cover Figure

Regulation of subcellular localization and activity of Cubitus interruptus (Ci) by Costal2 and Suppressor of fused. Shown here is a late third instar wing imaginal disc stained with antibodies directed against Ci (red) and the membrane and cytoplasm marker, Armadillo (green). The disc was treated with Leptomycin B before immunostaining to allow for visualization of Ci in the nucleus. Hedgehog induces stabilization and nuclear translocation of full-length Ci in anterior compartment cells near the anterior-posterior compartment boundary. (For details, see Wang et al., p. 2893.)
