About the Cover

Cover Figure

mus304 encodes a DNA damage checkpoint protein in Drosophila. Wild-type larvae (top) or mus3041 (bottom) were irradiated with 4000 rads of X-rays. Imaginal discs were dissected and stained with a mitotic-specific antibody. Anterior to the left, dorsal on top. The DNA damage checkpoint is disrupted in the mus304 mutant. mus304 encodes a novel coiled-coil domain protein. (For details, see Brodsky et al., p. 666.)
