mus304 encodes a DNA damage checkpoint protein in Drosophila. Wild-type larvae (top) or mus304¹ (bottom) were irradiated with 4000 rads of X-rays. Imaginal discs were dissected and stained with a mitotic-specific antibody. Anterior to the left, dorsal on top.
