Cover Cover GSK-3ß regulates cytoplasmic relocation of p53 upon induction of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. Shown here is an immunofluorescence analysis of intranuclear distribution of p53 and GSK-3ß in human fibrosarcoma HT1080 cells, using antibodies directed against p53 (green) and GSK-3ß (red). Upon ER stress induced by thapsigargin, GSK-3ß binds to p53 in the nucleus and enhances the cytoplasmic localization of p53. (For details, see Qu et al., p.261.)
